Getting a job after graduation should not feel scary

The Takeoff Fellowship is an 8-week intensive program to help prepare Black undergraduate students with the skills they need to succeed in the real world. Each Fellow is paired with an Advisor to develop a strategy, research an industry and present their findings and key takeaways. Through mentorship, a weekly speaker series and required coursework, this Fellowship is designed to build a strong foundation on which students can jump-start a successful career.

How many students do you accept?

For our current Fellowship, we will be accepting 50 students, but we are hoping to expand this number in the coming years.

 

Do I have to be an undergraduate to apply?

Yes! Our Fellowship is currently only serving undergraduate students. This includes graduating seniors but does not apply to rising first year students.

What if I have another internship?

Our Fellowship prioritizes Fellows who can commit to this opportunity as first priority, but we also consider students who will also be tackling a full-time internship.

 

How big is the time commitment for this program?

Students should expect to commit 10-15 hours per week to the program.
